Roadway Skills Driving Test
For anyone 16 and older:
We offer an on-the-roadway driving skills test to get your full driver's license. Individuals prove their ability to safely, legally, and responsibly operate a vehicle while being asked by an Examiner to perform basic driving tasks.
On test day
Bring the required documents. For appointments, arrive about 5 minutes early. If the weather and traffic cooperate, you'll be demonstrating your skills to the Examiner at (or near) your scheduled testing time.
Note: We test even if it's raining.
You should only be here 30 to 45 minutes! Do not arrive late, as you may lose your driving test time. Avoid rescheduling fees.

Documentation Submission for Upgrading License
If you have the "hard card" license, after you pass your driving test with us, we can submit your documents to DPS to upgrade your license from a "B" restriction license to your full drivers license. You will be able to print your paper license within 48 to 60 hours after successful submission. No DPS appointment is required!

The tester MUST have their own TxT account. DPS only allows this service at a third-party site if the tester is a U.S. citizen.

DL-14B: For minors - Under 17 years 10 months of age.
